Cox’s Bazar has recorded 40 millimeters of rainfall in the last 24 hours, marking the highest single-day rain of the current season.

Mohammad Abdul Hannan, Assistant Meteorologist at the Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Office, confirmed the data. According to him, the rainfall was recorded from 9:00 a.m. on Friday to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The weather office has also indicated that this rainfall trend may continue for the next few days.
