All the temples in Cox’s Bazar light up to celebrate the auspicious Deepabali festival, one of the most important festivals for the Hindu community, Shyama Puja.
From evening onward, hundreds of lamps light up the temples and homes, symbolizing peace and prosperity. People light incense, candles, and sparklers, and offer prayers for harmony.
This colorful celebration draws visitors from different communities who gather at the temples to witness the vibrant rituals, while some visit their Hindu friends’ homes to join in the festivities.
