Despite the winter chill, hundreds of thousands of tourists flock to Cox’s Bazar nationwide. Visitors are joyfully immersing themselves in the salty waves of the Bay of Bengal.

The beaches stretching from Laboni Point to Kolatoli and Himchari to Inani continue to bustle with holidaymakers. The conclusion of annual exams at educational institutions has prompted many families to head to the beach, coinciding with the weekly and Victory Day holidays.

Thousands of tourists arrive daily, filling seaside hotels and motels through mid-January. Hotel owners anticipate this rush will continue until March.

The district administration and tourist police are working diligently to ensure tourist safety. According to the Cox’s Bazar Tourist Police, observation towers and control rooms are actively monitoring the beach to maintain security.
