Vibrant fruit stalls in various parts of Cox’s Bazar entice customers with a colorful array of fresh, nutritious fruits from local and international sources.
Especially eye-catching are the five prominent fruit shops in the city center near Shahid Sarani intersection, displaying a variety of vibrant fruits that attract a steady stream of buyers.
These stalls offer a mix of local and exotic fruits, including dragon fruit, red grapes, oranges, pomegranates, apples, malta, guava, papaya, pomelo, and pineapple.
Customers note the higher cost of imported varieties despite the more affordable prices of local fruits. Vendors revealed the current prices for some popular items, including dragon fruit at Tk270 per kilogram, Gala apples at Tk350, pomegranates at Tk700, grapes at Tk400, and malta at Tk320 per kilogram.
