Kyaw Sein Thay Dolly, a native of Cox’s Bazar, has been honored with the prestigious DHL-Daily Star Bangladesh Business Award. The award was presented Tuesday night during a ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dhaka.
The award, presented by Saleh Uddin Ahmed, the Interim Government’s Adviser of Finance and Commerce, is divided into five categories.
Dolly, Managing Director of Dhaka-based buying house Clothes “R” Us, received the Outstanding Women in Business award.
She hails from the Harbang Rakhine neighborhood in Chakaria upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
The 22nd edition of the award ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Daily Star Editor Mahfuz Anam.
