Cox’s Bazar, adorned with lush green hills and valleys, is home to countless streams and waterfalls cascading down the slopes.

The region offers an endless display of natural beauty, captivating tourists along the Marine Drive on their way to Teknaf, where the breathtaking sight of hilltop waterfalls never fails to mesmerize them.

A local from Darianagar explained that while Cox’s Bazar is dotted with many scenic spots, the remote, rugged terrain often makes it difficult for nature enthusiasts to reach every stream or waterfall.

However, deep within the forest lie thousands of hidden streams. It is said that the waters from around 5,000 small and large streams converge at this very spot in Darianagar, where locals collect clean, fresh drinking water.

The crystal-clear waters of these streams are sweet to the taste and serve as a daily resource for locals, who use it for drinking and other household needs.
