Cox’s Bazar is Bangladesh’s most popular tourist destination. It is home to the world’s longest unbroken sea beach, and during the peak season, a massive influx of tourists arrives.

The winter calm of the sea attracts thousands daily, and the red and yellow flags indicate safe zones for bathing. Since early morning, this has encouraged many to take a refreshing dip in the tranquil waters.

Sea Safe Lifeguard has designated three points—Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni—as safe bathing zones, marked by red and yellow flags.

Tourists are urged to avoid swimming outside these marked areas to ensure their safety. Lifeguard officials emphasized the importance of adhering to these guidelines to prevent accidents.

During the winter season, lifeguard duty starts at 8:00 AM instead of the usual 7:00 AM, ensuring tourists can safely enjoy their beach experience under their watchful eyes.

Authorities encourage all tourists to cooperate with the lifeguards and follow safety instructions to make their visit enjoyable and secure.
