On the shores of Cox’s Bazar, a teenage girl has quietly captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands across the country and beyond. Her name is Ismahi Kajol, the smiling young photographer who stands behind the camera, preserving moments for countless visitors along the world’s longest sea beach. She takes photos and creates videos for tourists with joy, yet the hands that capture so many memories had no smartphone of their own.
Kajol runs a Facebook page under her name, with a growing number of followers. But for every post, she had to rely on borrowing phones from relatives—a struggle many who knew her story were aware of.
This struggle has now come to an end, thanks to Farhana Bithi and Rad, a popular content creator couple from Rajshahi. Recently, they invited Kajol to visit them in Rajshahi. When she arrived at their home, an unforgettable moment unfolded—Bithi and Rad presented Kajol with an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Tears welled up in Kajol’s eyes, her voice trembling with joy.
In a video message, Farhana Bithi said:
“Everyone knows Kajol captures moments for others and creates videos, but she didn’t have a good phone of her own. We wanted to make a small contribution to help her achieve her dreams, so we surprised her with this iPhone.
The video captures Kajol breaking down in tears of happiness as she holds the phone. Overcome with emotion, she said:
“Alhamdulillah! Thanks to Bithi Apu, I could fulfill my dream today. I don’t want to thank everyone in a small way; instead, I ask for your prayers. To everyone who stood by me and loved me, my love is with you all.”
At this point in her story, it becomes clear: Kajol is not just a teenage photographer; she is a symbol of talent and an inspiration of perseverance. This heartfelt gift has become a catalyst in her journey forward, reminding us once again how kindness, love, and compassion can transform a person’s life.
