Looking at two nostalgic photographs of Kolatoli from a bygone era will likely captivate anyone. Experts speculate that these pictures were taken in the early 1990s. 

There are no towering buildings, just a few modest huts with straw roofs and small shops. The road, winding through the hills, carries memories of a simpler, gentler Cox’s Bazar.

Another landmark is Angel Drop Restaurant, a favorite spot in Cox’s Bazar. Though not very old—it dates back to the 20th century—it holds countless memories for visitors. 

It was the go-to spot, where people gathered, sharing laughs and coffee, watching afternoons dissolve into evenings. However 2011, the Cox’s Bazar District Administration closed this establishment.
