With the inspiring motto “We Learn, We Teach,” the social organization Bright Way Youth Organization (BWYO), established in 2020, has launched a new initiative titled “Women Empower Project.”
The project aims to enhance women’s education, skills, economic independence, decision-making ability, and overall social status. Alongside this, BWYO continues to operate community education programs designed to help local women become both educated and self-reliant.
Under this initiative, BWYO plans to transform 150 women into self-employed entrepreneurs. Currently, two training centers are active under the project—one at Probal Bhaban in the Khurushkul Ashrayan Project area, and another at the Adinath Temple premises in Maheshkhali.
Notably, BWYO is funding the entire project.
BWYO is conducting various technical and creative training programs, such as handicrafts, block and batik printing, screen printing, and embroidery, to foster self-reliance among women.
BWYO team members believe this initiative will play a vital role in driving social change. “Women’s empowerment and self-dependence are not just goals—they are the foundation of a stronger, more equitable society,” the organization stated.
