World Vision Bangladesh organized a media discussion in Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday afternoon, December 3, at a local hotel to introduce its new campaign under the Enough/ENAF (Ending Need for Adequate Food) program to address child hunger and malnutrition.
During the meeting, World Vision’s Deputy Director, Dr. Rahul Mathew Nimagada, provided an overview of the program’s objectives, activities, and plans.
He emphasized that World Vision is actively working in 88 upazilas across 28 districts in Bangladesh to identify and address child malnutrition at the community level.
Highlighting the importance of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 2—Zero Hunger—he called for increased budget allocations for nutrition and healthcare at union levels, improved district-level nutrition monitoring, and equitable food distribution nationwide.
In addition, Charles Ususu, the new response director for World Vision’s Rohingya Crisis Response Program, engaged with local media.
He shared his experiences from humanitarian aid initiatives in other countries and encouraged journalists to provide insights and support for efforts to assist Rohingya refugees.
