Rowing with determination, the teams of boatmen sped through the waters of the Bakkhali River in Ramu, striving for victory. The riverbanks were alive with the cheers and excitement of spectators as the traditional boat race unfolded.
The Charpara Sports Council of Fatehkharkul Union organized the competition on Friday, October 11. Six teams from the village of Officerchar participated. The boat team Mayer Doa from Bakkhali emerged as the champion.
In the previous year’s competition, 2023, The Young Bahubali from Officerchar won the championship, BTCL Boat Team secured the runner-up position, and Officechar Krishok Club took third place.
