The fishing activities at the Cox’s Bazar Fish Landing Center, also known as Fishery Ghat, were brought to a standstill due to adverse weather conditions for the last three days.

Fishing boats and trawlers were unable to venture into the deep sea as the Meteorological Department hoisted warning no 3 for the Cox’s Bazar sea port.

However, as the Met Office lifted cautionary signal 3 from Cox’s Bazar today (September 10), they trawlers and boats resumed their normal fishing activities and the Fisherighat will also be restored soon.

However, on Tuesday morning (September 10), the usually bustling Fisherighat appeared quiet, with little activity.
