On the solemn occasion of Victory Day, people from all walks of life, along with institutions and organizations, gathered at Cox’s Bazar Shaheed Minar to pay homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War.
The District Commissioner, Mohammad Salahuddin, led the tribute by placing the first wreath, marking the beginning of the commemoration.
Each flower laid carried a profound sense of grief, respect, and love for those whose sacrifices secured the nation’s freedom. Wreaths, one after another, gradually transformed the Shaheed Minar into a vibrant symbol of remembrance.
This remembrance is powerful: “We will never forget our history of liberation.” Victory Day is a living tribute to the courage, resilience, and ultimate sacrifice of those who gave Bangladesh independence.
