The Coast Guard has provided free medical services and distributed essential medicines in Teknaf.

On Monday, June 30, Lieutenant Commander Harun-or-Rashid, the media officer of the Coast Guard, announced this initiative.

He stated that since its inception, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has been actively supporting the underserved people of coastal and riverine areas, offering help in various forms.

Through medical campaigns, the Coast Guard has been providing free medical services to underprivileged and low-income individuals.

In line with this, on June 30, the Coast Guard Base in Chattogram conducted a medical campaign at the Coast Guard Station in Teknaf, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

During the campaign, 226 individuals, including the destitute, poor, and children, received free medical services and necessary medical supplies. Medical Officer Surgeon Lieutenant Commander Naeem Hasan, AMC, led the campaign.
