Evercare Hospital Chattogram, one of the largest private hospitals in the port city, organized a day-long free medical camp in Cox’s Bazar to diagnose and treat congenital heart conditions in children.
The camp took place from 9 AM to 5 PM at Chevron Clinical Laboratory on Hospital Road. Dr. Tahera Nazrin, Senior Consultant and Coordinator of the Pediatric Cardiology Department at Evercare Hospitals (Dhaka and Chattogram) and the department’s founding member, led the initiative.
Throughout the day, Dr. Nazrin provided free consultations to children suffering from heart diseases. One of the camp’s most notable services was the use of world-class equipment to perform 2D and color Doppler echocardiography at a nominal cost, allowing for accurate diagnosis and follow-up treatment planning.
In addition to diagnostic services, the camp also facilitated doctor appointments, pre-admission assistance, and referrals for advanced treatment when needed. Evercare’s Pediatric Cardiology Unit in Dhaka is known for offering high-quality care for congenital heart defects in children, including free medical devices, balloons, and expert consultations—ensuring that every child receives the treatment they need regardless of financial ability.
