Small stalls selling fresh bananas and chilled green coconuts have become a new attraction along the Marine Drive beside the popular Patuartek Beach in Cox’s Bazar. As tourists arrive to enjoy the scenic blend of hills and sea, the demand for refreshing coconuts and fresh bananas has grown noticeably.
Travellers from Dhaka, Chattogram, and other parts of the country say that sipping a fresh coconut in the open sea breeze is an unmatched experience.
Local vendors report that, with rising tourist traffic in Patuartek, sales of coconuts and bananas have nearly doubled. Many tourists pause at these stalls while exploring Marine Drive, taking a moment to relax amid the journey.
