Farmer Salamat Ullah has found success growing different varieties of leafy vegetables in West Sonai Chhari village. During a recent visit, he was seen harvesting red amaranth from his field, just 20 days after sowing the seeds. He said the vegetables had grown enough to be ready for sale and that he planned to take the fresh harvest to the local market in the evening. Salamat Ullah has leased the land for two years to cultivate leafy greens and earn a living through farming.
