Freshly caught large-sized lobsters have arrived at Fishery Ghat in Cox’s Bazar. Local fishermen recently hauled these sizable lobsters from the sea, offering them for sale at just four per kilogram. Wholesale vendors report that these lobsters are Tk1,200 per kilogram, while smaller ones are available for Tk1,000 per kg.
With its coastal charm, Cox’s Bazar attracts tourists eager to savor fresh seafood, and lobster is often a favorite.
Though it resembles shrimp, lobster meat is much denser and has a unique flavor. The availability of freshly caught lobsters here adds to their allure, making them a bit pricier than elsewhere.
