Amidst the gentle breeze of Agrahayan, a homemaker is busy separating husks from freshly harvested paddy. The paddy fields have already seen their share of harvesting and threshing. Families of farmers in Cox’s Bazar are currently involved in drying and processing the grains. Delicious winter pithas made from the season’s freshly milled rice will adorn their dining tables in just a few days.
