The jhau or casuarina saplings planted along the road divider on Laboni Sea Beach Road are withering due to a lack of proper care. The saplings, which were once carefully placed to create a casuarina grove, are now drying up and dying from neglect. Residents and environmentalists have urgently called for immediate attention to save the plants. These photos were captured from Laboni Beach Road.
