Cox’s Bazar is celebrating Bangladesh’s Independence and National Day with various programs organized by the district administration.
As part of the celebrations, a grand Independence Day parade was held this morning at Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin attended as the chief guest and, in his speech, urged everyone to work together for a non-communal and discrimination-free Bangladesh.
Following the speech, the chief guest, along with Superintendent of Police Md. Saif Uddin Shaheen, took the salute at the parade.
The event saw participation from the police, Fire Service and Civil Defense, naval scouts, and students from various educational institutions. The program concluded with an award distribution ceremony for the parade participants.
