The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Cox’s Bazar International University (CBIU) hosted an international-standard seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Wednesday.
The seminar featured two prominent speakers Dr Zia Uddin, a distinguished professor at Woosong University, South Korea, and a proud son of Cox’s Bazar, and Dr Mahe Jabin, a post-doctoral research fellow at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
CBIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Touhid Hossain Chowdhury presided over the event. Other notable attendees included Professor Kazi Mostain Billah, Dean of the university, Badiul Alam, Proctor, Anandeep Barua, Chair of the Computer Science and Engineering Department, and Faculty members including lecturers Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, Nayan Pal, Sajib Kumar Das, and Eka Das.
The seminar also drew participation from students of renowned colleges and polytechnic institutes in Cox’s Bazar, highlighting the region’s growing interest in AI.
