Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Iwama Kiminori, visited the Rohingya refugee camp in Ukhiya on Thursday.
During the visit, the Ambassador toured the health service center operated by Dhaka Community Hospital Trust at Camp-14 in Hakimpara, under Palongkhali Union. He observed the ongoing medical services being provided to the Rohingya refugees and interacted with some of the displaced individuals currently residing in the camp.
Ambassador Iwama was accompanied by Shinju Karasawa, Head of the Economic Cooperation Division at the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh, along with senior officials from the Community Initiative Society, including its Executive Director and other executive members.
