Educational institutions across Cox’s Bazar are actively observing the “July Awakening” with a series of commemorative events. As part of the initiative, Ramu Government College recently hosted a discussion and prize distribution ceremony under the banner of “July Awakening 2025.”
The event took place on Thursday at the college auditorium, presided over by Principal Professor Mohammad Hasanul Islam. Teachers and staff from the institution also addressed the gathering.
Speakers emphasized that the youth are the architects of tomorrow’s Bangladesh. They urged students to play a proactive role in building an inclusive and discrimination-free nation.
Prizes were distributed among students who participated in various competitions organized as part of the celebration.
Meanwhile, several schools in Maheshkhali also held events marking the July Awakening. Students participated in poetry recitations, essay writing, and art competitions in memory of the martyred children of July. Prizes were awarded to the winners at the end of the programs.
