Kaiser Hamid is a youth activist who founded the Youth Alliance for Sustainable International Development (YASID) in 2020.

The organization promotes peace, youth development, policy-level engagement, and ensuring youth participation in education, reproductive health, and emergency relief efforts.

Kaiser told Cox’s Bazar Life that the creation of YASID stemmed from the conviction that youth leadership, particularly in pursuing peace, is crucial for the country’s progress. As a youth-led organization, YASID aims to actively empower young people to shape their communities.

Kaiser believes sustainable tourism can transform Cox’s Bazar into a thriving business city. With pressing issues like the Rohingya crisis and climate-induced displacement, Kaiser emphasizes the need to address these challenges to transform Cox’s Bazar into a safer, more prosperous city.
