The monthly Law and Order and Development Coordination Committee meeting was held in Chakaria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar under the initiative of the Upazila administration.
The meeting took place on Thursday at the Upazila Parishad auditorium, presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Atikur Rahman.
Key issues discussed during the session included improving rural infrastructure and roads, strengthening overall security, addressing traffic congestion, and conducting mobile court drives to curb illegal hill cutting.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner (Land), Officer-in-Charge of Chakaria Police Station, political leaders, elected representatives, and student representatives.
