A legal notice has been sent to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) requesting the exclusion of star cricketer Shakib Al Hasan from the national team due to his alleged involvement in a murder case. The notice, aimed at ensuring a fair investigation, was sent yesterday on behalf of lawyer Mohammad Rafinur Rahman by Supreme Court advocate Barrister Sajib Mahmud Alam.
In response to the notice, BCB President Farooq Ahmed and several board directors convened a meeting at the BCB office this afternoon. However, no official statement has been released by the board regarding the matter.
