With the touch of modernity and the passage of time, the traditional lantern has slowly disappeared.

Once a staple in almost every rural household, it was used as a source of light. For many, the lantern brings back memories of the past. It remains one of the symbols of rural heritage.

In the days before electricity, it was the only means of lighting in the dark rural nights.

However, this lost artifact of the past has found a place in a Thai restaurant named Bangkokian, located on Marine Drive, catching the attention of tourists.
