The Victory Day Half Marathon, jointly organized by the Cox’s Bazar district administration and the Bangladesh Army, will take place on December 28 under the theme “Run for Heroes of Our Victory.”
Today, the Shaheed ATM Jafar Alam Conference Hall in Cox’s Bazar hosted a logo unveiling ceremony to commemorate the occasion. The event’s chief guest, Brigadier General Md. Nurun Nabi of the 2nd Infantry Brigade, Ramu Cantonment, unveiled the logo, while Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin presided over the ceremony.
In his address, the Deputy Commissioner shared that the 21-kilometer marathon will commence at 7:00 AM from Bhangar Muk on Marine Drive Road and conclude at the Inani Hotel Baywatch by 11:00 AM. The event will feature 300 participants, including seven international runners, competing across various categories. Winners will receive cash prizes and special recognition awards.
