MA Mannan has officially taken charge as the 26th Deputy Commissioner of Cox’s Bazar. He joined his new post on Tuesday afternoon (date to be specified).
Arriving in Cox’s Bazar at 3:00 pm, he first visited the Circuit House to review treasury responsibilities. At 4:00 pm, he proceeded to the Deputy Commissioner’s office, where he formally assumed office. Officials of the district administration welcomed him with flowers and extended their greetings on his new assignment.
MA Mannan is an officer of the 27th BCS Administration Cadre. Before joining Cox’s Bazar, he served as Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) to the Chairman of the National Pay Commission.
Cox’s Bazar was upgraded to a district in 1984, and since then, 25 Deputy Commissioners have served in this position. With his appointment, MA Mannan becomes the 26th Deputy Commissioner of the district.
