Cox’s Bazar’s entire Marine Drive Road has transformed into a living canvas of lush greenery as Sagarlata bursts into full bloom.
With winter setting in, the coastline appears to have regained new life — its vibrant green leaves and delicate purple flowers creating a dreamy landscape that instantly captivates visitors.
The Sagarlata quickly spread as the cool winter breeze blows across the shore, revealing their seasonal flowers.
The bright purple flowers that cover the sandy area make the coast even more beautiful.
On both sides of Marine Drive, these ground-hugging plants now resemble a natural carpet — with the blue sea on one side, a sweeping green blanket on the other, and splashes of purple completing the picture.
Tourists visiting Marine Drive say they have never seen the Sagarlata bloom this abundantly before.
The entire stretch looks like a living painting. Some pause to take photos, while others capture videos, eager to preserve the fleeting beauty of the season.
According to local environmentalists, winter provides the most favorable conditions for the growth of beach vines.
During this period, the plants spread quickly and produce more flowers, which also help stabilize the sandy coastline and maintain ecological balance.
