With the arrival of spring, Cox’s Bazar’s Marine Drive has taken on a fresh and vibrant look. Colourful flowers have bloomed on trees lining both sides of the road, mango trees are dotted with blossoms, while palash pods and lush green foliage in places have added to the area’s natural charm.
Set against the backdrop of the blue sea, the colourful landscape offers tourists an added sense of delight.
Crowds of tourists line the Marine Drive from morning to afternoon. Some stop to take photographs, others spend time with family, while many simply lose themselves in the quiet beauty of nature.
Rashed Mahmud, a tourist from Dhaka, said, “Marine Drive is beautiful all year round, but seeing the flowers and mango blossoms in spring feels like nature itself is celebrating. Spending time in such a pleasant environment is truly wonderful.”
Another tourist said that the combination of the blue sea, surrounding hills, and blooming roadside flowers makes the place feel dreamlike. “The beauty of Marine Drive in spring is truly something special,” he added.
They also said that the natural beauty of Marine Drive during spring enhances the joy of travel many times over.
