As part of the Youth Festival 2025, the Teknaf Upazila Administration has inaugurated a month-long book fair and cultural program, aiming to inspire knowledge and creativity among the community.

The event commenced on Monday (January 20) at 7 PM at the Teknaf Upazila Parishad Cultural Center. Several renowned libraries and publishers, including Al-Aqsa Islamic Library, Major Sinha Literary House, Boi Bari Teknaf, Shaheed Wasim Memorial Library, Shabrang Gyan Onneshon Pathagar, Shaheed Zia Memorial Library, ICS Publications, and Al-Hera Library, are participating in the fair.

Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sheikh Ehsan Uddin graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest. 

Speaking at the event, he remarked, “For the first time, Teknaf is hosting a book fair that has sparked enthusiasm among students. The opportunity to engage in free thought and expand intellectual horizons reflects the true beauty of a book fair.”

Government officials, teachers, students, readers, and representatives of civil society attended the event, making it a vibrant celebration of knowledge and culture.
