The monthly crime review meeting was held on March 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the conference room of the Cox’s Bazar Police Superintendent’s Office. Mohammad Saifuddin Shahin, Superintendent of Police, Cox’s Bazar, presided over the meeting.
During the session, the superintendent directed all officers in charge (OCs) of the district’s police stations, emphasizing the need to maintain law and order and implement necessary measures to ensure public safety.
Among the attendees were Mohammad Shakil Ahmed, Additional Superintendent of Police (recently promoted to Superintendent)—Administration & Finance, Cox’s Bazar; Nazmus Sakib Khan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Operations); Mohammad Jashim Uddin Chowdhury, PPM, Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic); Ahmed Payer, Additional Superintendent of Police, Sadar Circle; and Manabendra Sarkar, Assistant Superintendent of Police. Representatives from the Armed Police Battalion (APBn), Tourist Police, CID, Department of Narcotics Control, and Department of Environment also participated, along with the OCs of all nine police stations and unit heads from various departments.
Later, at 4:45 PM, the district police’s monthly welfare meeting was held at the Cox’s Bazar Police Lines. During this session, police personnel of different ranks raised concerns and proposals. The superintendent listened attentively to their problems and promptly resolved several issues. He urged all officers and personnel to carry out their duties with courage, integrity, dedication, and professionalism.
In recognition of outstanding performance, awards were presented in various categories, including Best Officer-in-Charge, Best Firearms Recovery Officer, and Best Warrant Execution Officer. Winners received crests and cash rewards for their contributions.
The series of meetings concluded with an Iftar gathering, during which the superintendent joined officers and personnel in breaking their fast.
