Early on a holiday morning, an unexpected heavy rain submerged several areas of Cox’s Bazar.
With no prior warning from weather forecasts, the sudden downpour caught everyone by surprise.
Judging by the dark, heavy clouds and gusty winds, it seems this rain may persist for quite a while.
As it was Friday, the holiday kept road traffic minimal. However, those who ventured out by 6:30 a.m. had to either brave the rain with umbrellas or simply continue, drenched, toward their destinations.
