Muntaqa Saiba of Chakaria Korak Vidyapith has secured the top position in Cox’s Bazar district in the 2026 Secondary School Certificate examination results, scoring 1,262 out of 1,300 marks.
A student of the science group, she ranked first in Cox’s Bazar and 12th in Chattogram division.
Cox’s Bazar district education officer Golam Mostafa confirmed the result, saying Muntaka secured 1,262 marks to top the district and ranked 12th in the division.
Muntaqa is the daughter of Imam Hossain and Umme Muklesa Khanam. Her achievement has brought joy to her family, educational institution and local community, while classmates, teachers and relatives have congratulated her on the result.
Top three in the science group
Nabiha Nowrin of Cox’s Bazar Government Girls’ High School secured second place in the district in the science group, scoring 1,251 out of 1,300. She ranked 59th in the Chattogram division.
Tafhimatun Nur Suraiya of Chakaria Grammar School ranked third in the district with 1,248 marks and secured 94th position in the division.
Smriti Das tops business studies
Smriti Das of Sakyamuni High School in Chakaria topped the district in the business studies group, scoring 1,185 out of 1,300. She ranked 40th in the Chattogram division.
Sunia Sultana Jigar of Eidgah Adarsha Shiksha Niketan also scored 1,185 marks, securing second place in the district and 40th position in the division.
Abrar Tajwar Tahiyat ranked third in the district with 1,183 marks and secured 46th position in the division.
Jannatul Mawa Isfa tops humanities
Jannatul Mawa Isfa of Paharchanda High School topped the district in the humanities group with 1,159 marks out of 1,300. She secured ninth position in Chattogram division.
Riza of Moheshkhali Model High School ranked second in the district with 1,154 marks, securing 13th position in the division.
Jannatul Ferdous Chumki of Pokkhali High School ranked third in the district with 1,150 marks and secured 15th position in the division.
The strong performance of students from various educational institutions in Cox’s Bazar has created a celebratory atmosphere in the district’s education sector following the publication of the SSC results.
Education stakeholders have particularly welcomed the strong positions that students from the district secured at the divisional level
