Students from Arunoday School, an institution dedicated to children with special needs, set an inspiring example by participating in the Independence Day parade organized by the Cox’s Bazar district administration. The parade, held on Wednesday at Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium, saw students from various schools marching in unison, with Arunoday School’s students making a remarkable presence.

Despite physical and cognitive challenges, including autism and speech impairments, the students displayed remarkable discipline and determination during the march-past. Their participation was widely praised by government officials, teachers, and parents present at the event.

Spectators in the stands were deeply moved, with many expressing admiration for the students’ perseverance. “Their willpower and resilience are truly inspiring,” remarked one attendee.

Through inclusion in district-level events, students with special needs gain opportunities to integrate into society. Organizers and educators expressed hope that initiatives like this would continue to expand, fostering greater acceptance and participation for all.
