Razia Parveen, an assistant teacher at Pechar Dwip Government Primary School in Khuniapalong Union of Ramu Upazila, has been named the Best Distinguished Teacher of Cox’s Bazar district in the selection competition organized to mark National Teachers’ Day 2025.
She earned this prestigious recognition for her longstanding dedication and contributions to the education sector.
Earlier, she was also awarded as the district’s Best Innovator, highlighting her creative and innovative approach to teaching.
Since joining the primary education service in 2014, Parveen has worked tirelessly to inspire students and improve classroom practices.
Among her notable achievements is winning the 2024 National CPP (Community Preparedness Program) Award in recognition of her efforts to raise disaster awareness and strengthen community resilience.
Her latest achievement has sparked joy across the local education community. Teachers, students, and parents of Pechardwip school expressed pride in having one of their own recognized at the district level.
Education stakeholders believe Razia Parveen’s recognition will inspire future generations of teachers, encouraging them to uphold dedication, creativity, and community engagement in the pursuit of quality education.
