Pini Puri, a type of traditional rice cake, is one of the oldest and most beloved local delicacies of Cox’s Bazar. According to Arif, a street vendor who sells this treat, the cake is made from grated coconut, date palm jaggery, condensed milk (khirsha), and ground rice flour. Each piece is sold for around Tk15-Tk30. These photos were captured in the Bazarghata area of Cox’s Bazar.
