Every country has its unique arts and culture. In Bangladesh, pottery has flourished as an extraordinary representation of its thousand-year-old history, culture, and heritage.
Recently, at the Cox’s Bazar tree fair, a businessman set up a pottery stall.
Nurul Alam, a businessman from Chandanaish, said those various items priced between Tk50 and Tk500 were available.
The items included household clay, such as pitchers, pots, and earthen jars.
Moreover, various clay figurines were present, including brides and grooms, elephants, horses, farmers, workers, and different clay-made fruits.
