As Victory Day approaches, flower shops in Cox’s Bazar are bustling with activity as people place orders for floral wreaths to pay homage at the Shaheed Minar. 

Various organizations, institutions, and individuals have been ordering wreaths to honor the martyrs of the Liberation War. 

Local flower vendors reported receiving orders for 100 to 300 wreaths this year.

Shop owners shared that Victory Day is a crucial time for the flower business, with people from different walks of life coming to order wreaths. 

The demand has surged, keeping florists busy day and night to meet deadlines. 

According to the vendors, the significance of the day and the shared sense of social responsibility have led to an exceptional rise in business activity at the flower shops this year.
