The 2025 district committee of Prothom Alo Bondhushava, the reader’s forum of Bangladesh’s leading daily Prothom Alo, has been announced in Cox’s Bazar.
On January 1, Abdul Kuddus Rana, Chief Advisor of Bondhushava and Head of Prothom Alo’s Cox’s Bazar Regional Office, formally declared the 87-member committee for 2025.
The Bondhushava members reaffirmed their commitment to fighting against social issues such as drug abuse and corruption while striving to create an equal and just Bangladesh.
Emphasizing their motto of “Walking on the path of light for a better life,” the members pledged to promote positivity and change in society actively.
The executive committee named Fahim Quddus Priyo as president, Nurul Absar and Abdul Nabi as vice presidents, and Ulfatul Mostafa Rana as general secretary.
Moreover, Margub Morshed and Nasir Uddin Sohel were named joint general secretary, while Md Tanvirul Islam was the organizing secretary.
The executive committee and a nine-member advisory council, including Abdul Kuddus Rana, Shamim Akhter, and others, were also announced.
The committee is set to uphold the values of the Bondhushava and work towards building a brighter future for the community and beyond.
