The breathtaking hill district of Rangamati turned vibrant as members of the Ramu Press Club embarked on a three-day recreational tour, held from November 6 to 8.

A total of 40 journalists from Ramu and Cox’s Bazar enthusiastically took part in the trip.

The journey began on Thursday evening (November 6) from Ramu Railway Station. Traveling by train, the journalists reached Chattogram at night and continued their trip to Rangamati early the next morning.

On Friday (November 7), the group visited several of Rangamati’s popular tourist attractions, including Kaptai Dam, Love Point, R&H Lake, Asambasti Bridge, and the Navy Park.

Later in the evening, the visiting team was warmly received by the leaders of Rangamati Press Club.

A discussion session, journalist training workshop, and cultural program were held at the Rangamati Press Club auditorium.

The final day of the tour, Saturday, was filled with joy and exploration. Starting at 8 a.m., the participants enjoyed a boat trip on the scenic Kaptai Lake, visiting Shubolong Waterfall, Mayabi Island, indigenous villages and markets, the hanging bridge, and Pollen Park.

A traditional lunch was hosted at the island restaurant “Sang Pang,” where the group enjoyed local delicacies amid the tranquil lake setting.
