Not floating on the sea, but perched atop a lush green hill—this unique Sopnotori ship is drawing visitors as a new tourist attraction in Ramu, Cox’s Bazar. Covering approximately 5,000 square feet, Sopnotori Park has been gaining popularity, with a growing number of travelers flocking to this picturesque site spanning three acres.

Located 10 kilometers north of Ramu’s town center, the park sits atop a hill on the eastern side of the Cox’s Bazar-Chattogram highway, near Rashidnagar Cluster Village.

The Sopnotori is the centerpiece of this beautifully designed park, which offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors of all ages, including children. Established under the initiative of the Ramu Upazila administration, the park adds a unique dimension to tourism in the region.

Cox’s Bazar is famous for its sea and hills, yet most tourists favor the beach over the mountains. This park was created to balance the experience, offering an engaging hillside retreat where visitors can enjoy the beauty of the sea and the hills.
