A security coordination meeting was held on March 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the conference hall of the Superintendent of Police (SP) office in Cox’s Bazar. The meeting, organized in preparation for Eid-ul-Fitr, focused on security measures for banks and financial institutions across the district.
Cox’s Bazar Superintendent of Police (SP), Md. Saifuddin Shaheen presided over the session.
Among the key officials present were Md. Shakil Ahmed, Additional SP (recently promoted to SP rank), Administration & Finance, Md. Jasim Uddin Chowdhury, PPM, Additional SP (Traffic), and Alok Biswas, Additional SP (Detective Branch – DSB).
Senior executives from various banks and financial institutions in the district also attended the meeting, where they discussed strategies to enhance security during the festive season.
