Weather conditions are fair at Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach, though tourist traffic is currently low.
However, due to unsafe water conditions, the beach is unsuitable for swimming, as red flags have been hoisted at Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points.
Mohammad Osman, in charge of Sea Safe Lifeguard, said that lifeguards are stationed at three points. No one is allowed to bathe in the sea under knee-deep water.
The lifeguard said today’s high tide was at 09:13 a.m., and the low tide will be at 02:58 p.m.
