In a groundbreaking collaboration, the Songjog Foundation and the Internet Society Foundation have launched a free skill development program called the “Hands-on Skill Development Program for Internet-Based Applications.”

This initiative aims to empower underprivileged and economically disadvantaged youth across Bangladesh. The program provides training in high-demand fields such as Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Python Programming, and Basic Computer Skills, equipping participants with the necessary tools to succeed in today’s digital economy.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and employability for marginalized youth, providing them with tools to create sustainable livelihoods and participate in the digital economy.

With industries increasingly relying on technology and digital skills, the training programs offered by Songjog Foundation are set to open doors to promising career opportunities.

Under this project, the Songjog Foundation provides free training to 60 underprivileged youth in Cox’s Bazar, Faridpur, Dhaka, and Online.

During a visit to the Cox’s Bazar training program on 29 December 2024, Syed Samsul Amin (PhD), President and Treasurer (Songjog Foundation, USA), said, “At the core of this program is our commitment to fostering inclusivity and creating pathways to a brighter future for the youth of the country. By joining forces with the Internet Society Foundation, we’re making high-quality skill development accessible to those who need it most.”
