The Tour Operator Owners Association of Cox’s Bazar (TOAC), a registered organization dedicated to tourism services in the region, organized an Iftar and prayer gathering.

The event occurred on Friday (March 21) at the Hotel Hill Tower Resort conference hall in Cox’s Bazar.

TOAC’s Convener, Mizanur Rahman Milky, presided over the gathering, while the organization’s Member Secretary, Md. Anwar Hossain and Convener Committee Member Aliraj Jiblu jointly moderated the session. Various association leaders addressed the event, highlighting key discussions on the tourism industry.

Distinguished guests in attendance included International Labour Organization (ILO) representative Nabid Akbar, Head of the Tourism & Hospitality Management Department at Cox’s Bazar City College, Mainul Hasan Palash, Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ District Manager, Dulal, Team Jaba representative, Faisal Ahmed, Bangladesh Tourism Corporation official, Nadim Mahmud, Enroute International’s Team Leader, Ibrahim Khalil Bhuiyan, National Citizen Party (NCP) Central Joint Secretary, ASM Sujauddin Suja, Amar Desh newspaper’s district correspondent, Ansar Hossain, and TUAK’s former General Secretary, SM Kamruzzaman Obydu.

During the discussions, participants emphasized TUAK’s role in enhancing Cox’s Bazar’s tourism industry and ensuring the rights and interests of tour operators.

Following the Iftar, a special prayer was held to seek blessings for the welfare of the country and its people.

The gathering was attended by professionals from the tourism sector, representatives from NGOs, government and private officials, members of the Tour Guide Association, hotel and restaurant staff, and students from local orphanages.

Notably, TOAC has been actively contributing to Cox’s Bazar’s tourism sector for years, working towards delivering high-quality experiences for visitors.
