To ensure visitors’ safety and convenience, the Tourist Police Cox’s Bazar Region has launched a special monitoring drive along the Cox’s Bazar sea beach. The operation focused on jet ski and beach bike operations, traffic management, horse riders, photographers, and locker facilities.

On Tuesday (April 1), Additional DIG Apel Mahmud, chief of the Cox’s Bazar Region, attended the monitoring activities. He emphasized the need for service providers to act responsibly to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for tourists.

“The Tourist Police is always committed to enhancing security and service standards for visitors,” said Additional DIG Apel Mahmud. “We are ensuring that jet skis and beach bikes operate within regulations, traffic remains organized, horse riders and photographers maintain proper etiquette with tourists, and locker services are regularly monitored to keep valuables safe.”

He also assured that the Tourist Police would take swift action against any irregularities or harassment of tourists. Other senior officials from the Tourist Police were also present during the drive.

Authorities have confirmed that this unique monitoring initiative will continue to maintain a tourist-friendly environment at Cox’s Bazar Beach.
